In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Tahitian Pearl Association Hong Kong hosted the prestigious "Tahitian Pearl Reunion Night," marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tahitian Pearl Cooperation. The event also debuted the association’s official Tahitian pearl-themed song, "Mesmerized Tahitian Pearl," setting the tone for a grand celebration of culture, art, and international collaboration.

Key guests at the signing ceremony included Chan Ming Wing, President of the Tahitian Pearl Association Hong Kong, alongside distinguished industry leaders such as Fan Xiao Bin, President of the Hong Kong Gemstone Manufacturers’ Association, and Chen Xia Ying, President of the Professional Association of Pearls, Zhejiang. More than 1,000 pearl enterprises were represented at the ceremony, which was attended by industry stalwarts including Wong Tat Wah and Alfred Martin from Tahiti. Both were honoured as the association's newly appointed Honorary Life Presidents.

Chan Ming Wing shared the association's mission to promote and educate the public about the allure of Tahitian pearls. He highlighted the association’s recent venture into music with the creation of the song "Mesmerized Tahitian Pearl," designed to elevate the pearls to "star brand" status and increase their visibility in global markets.

The event was further enhanced by a jewellery parade featuring Tahitian pearl designs, led by Miss Jewelry Hong Kong, Kimmy Low. Models showcased award-winning pieces from the JNA Jewelry Design Competition, reflecting the rich heritage and modern elegance of Tahitian pearls.

The highlight of the evening was the premiere of "Mesmerized Tahitian Pearl," a song composed and performed by Peng Liang. Inspired by the mysterious hues and deep connection to the sea that define Tahitian pearls, Peng Liang expressed his pride in creating a musical tribute to these gems, hoping it would foster cultural connections through its dreamy melody.

Adding to the festivities, Miss JoJo Li and Miss Jacqueline Chan were appointed as "Tahitian Pearl Brand Ambassadors." JoJo, representing youthful energy, praised the pearls' vibrant beauty, while Jacqueline, embodying elegance and maturity, emphasized the pearls’ regal charm, referring to them as the "Queen of the Pearl."

In line with their commitment to corporate social responsibility, the association set up a charity sales booth, with ten percent of the proceeds donated to the hospice services of Haven of Hope Christian Service. Chan reiterated the association’s dedication to sustainability, highlighting their sponsorship of jewellery design competitions and ongoing charity initiatives.

Director General He Bin also outlined future plans to establish a dedicated Tahitian Pearl Pavilion, aimed at strengthening ties with the Tahitian government and enhancing market transparency. By fostering closer collaboration with Tahitian pearl farmers, the association seeks to ensure high-quality pearls and price stability for its members.
