The event, organized by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), will take place at the prestigious Antwerp Stock Exchange.
Ravi Bhansali, AWDC Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Rosy Blue, will begin the proceedings with the welcome address. The conference will also feature interviews and speeches from several high-profile industry figures, including Al Cook, CEO of De Beers Group, who will be interviewed by diamond analyst Edahn Golan. Angola’s Secretary of State for Mineral Resources, Janio Correa Victor, and Antonio Zola of Sociedade Mineira de Catoca, Angola's largest mining company, will also give keynote speeches.
In addition to these addresses, the conference will host panel discussions featuring leading experts from the global diamond industry. Participants include Paul Rowley, Executive Vice President of Diamond Trading at De Beers Group; Jacky Tache, CEO of Tache Group; Peter Kovacs, Head of the Industry, Goods, Energy, Customs, and Origin at the European Commission; Mmetla Masire, Managing Director of Okavango Diamond Company; David Kellie, CEO of the Natural Diamond Council; Olya Linde, Partner at Bain & Company; Sahag Arslanian, Director of Arslanian Group; Cormac Kinney, CEO of Diamond Standard; and William Lamb, CEO of Lucara Diamond.
The conference will focus on strategies to re-engage the international diamond sector for growth, explore the role of natural diamond marketing, and underscore the importance of transparency and reliability in ensuring Antwerp's future as a global leader in diamond trading.
