Back in May, Dior launched the first chapter of its Diorama & Diorigami high jewellery collection, which explored Christian Dior’s eternal love of flora and fauna, as well as his use of toile de jouy fabric on his beloved haute couture designs.
Now, Victoire de Castellane, the creative director of Dior Joaillerie, has revealed new jewellery sets which depict magical landscapes with hidden animals, while also celebrating the art of pleating, a signature of the Bar suit.
Pushing Dior’s creative exploration of high jewellery to ever-more contemporary heights, Diorama & Diorigami features precious necklaces, rings and earrings, adorned with delicate flowers resembling subtle origami and carved fawns and swans nestled amid nature scenes of coloured gemstones and textured and engraved gold.
