Backed with a diamond processing experience of more than 30 years, Ankit Gems has created a niche in processing exclusive Triple Excellent Rounds & Fancy-shaped diamonds in Namibia.

Being committed to latest technologies, Ankit Gems proudly established itself as a pioneer in adopting cutting-edge diamond manufacturing methods in Namibia. Setting a precedent in the industry, Ankit Gems was the first Company in Namibia to introduce state-of-the-art equipment such as the sophisticated Brucker Sky Scanner 1275 and laser machines, the renowned Sarine Galaxy and Lexus Helium systems, Lexus Galahad Systems, to name a few. This strategic investment not only positioned Ankit Gems Namibia as a frontrunner in diamond manufacturing but also underscored its unwavering commitment to innovation & delivering exceptional quality diamonds to its customers.

Ankit Gems commitment to delivering high-quality diamonds goes hand in hand with the dedication to hiring & training local artisans. Since inception to date, the Company has grown from a modest team of 15 Namibian local employees to a seasoned workforce of over 160.

To ensure highest standards of craftsmanship, Ankit Gems Namibia brings experts from the India factory (Surat) to train & impart manufacturing know-how to Namibian artisans. Moreover, the Company also calls a handful of Namibian specialists to Surat facility, to familiarize them with the entire manufacturing chain, thus enhancing their cutting & polishing skills. These trained artisans in turn lead the local Namibian workforce, of whom many have risen to the highest level of manufacturing standards.

Ankit Gems Namibia is actively expanding its footprint within Namibia, fulfilling its commitment to make significant contributions & investments in the country's economy.

Anticipating a pivotal moment in its growth journey, the Company is planning to inaugurate a state-of-the-art factory building in mid-2024. This facility will not only be equipped with latest machineries, but will become a sustainable manufacturing unit, featuring the latest equipment for energy conservation & carbon emissions reduction, aligning with corporate vision for sustainable & responsible business practices.

Ankit Gems has always been committed to crafting diamonds of unparalleled quality & beauty. It is this dedication to excellence that has set the Company apart from its competitors, allowing to earn a reputation for producing diamonds that makes waves within the industry.

In 2017, the Company achieved a remarkable milestone in the global diamond marketing arena. A diamond mined in Namibia, cut & polished at Ankit Gems Namibia factory was inscribed by Forevermark Diamond Institute in Surat, India. This 3.48 carats round brilliant stone became a Forevermark Jubilee diamond (DTC Trademark) and will bear the inscription of ‘2,000,000’. This diamond was cut by Namibian polisher Mr. Negumbo Titus.

This achievement is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship of Ankit Gems Namibia employees. Additionally, the jewelry crafted from this diamond has earned its place in Forevermark’s exclusive red carpet collection, destined to be adorned by celebrities at prominent events & award ceremonies globally, making Namibian diamonds famous around the globe.

Additionally, Ankit Gems has polished a 27.41-carat diamond, which is one of the largest Yellow colour diamond, mined & manufactured in Namibia.

Such achievements not only showcase the exquisite quality of its diamonds but also solidifies the Company position as a leading force in the global diamond industry.
