Jonathan Oppenheimer opines about diamond derivatives

Jonathan Oppenheimer, director -De Beers, mentioned that the diamond futures market has his full support, but had citied problems in the stock valuation stage due to the non-fungible nature of diamonds, and wanted to better understand how the valuation would take place.

He said �We are not saying yes and we are not saying no, we are saying that we are ready to understand diamond futures and to unpack it (the concept).
