This movement underscores GJEPC’s ongoing efforts to push India’s gem and jewellery exports.
This cooperation would help boost the gem and jewellery industry in the Indian city of Jaipur, also a leading global hub for coloured gemstones, manufacturing and processing, as China sees a rise in the consumer demand for coloured gemstones.
On this occasion, a seminar was organized, based on ‘Your Gateway to the China gemstones Market’ where exporters were given insights into the function and facilities being offered by the Panyu Government in ‘China Gem Centre’ for Indian Gemstone Exporters. The Vice Mayor of Panyu District Government Mr Chen De Jun invited Indian exporters to visit Panyu on a sponsored trip from Hong Kong during September Hong Kong show, and gain a first had experience of the China Gems Center. The Indian exporters present expressed their enthusiasm to make the most of the cooperation between the two countries and create a niche for themselves besides earning accolades and foreign exchange for India.
