Tzoffey's 1818 Rough Diamond Tender at IRDW includes variety of roughs

Tzoffey's 1818, the Israeli-French auction house is participating in the upcoming International Rough Diamond Week (IRDW) with an offering of a wide range of rough diamonds. The tender will include run-of mine diamonds, goods in ranges of 3-6 gr., 4-8gr., 5-10 ct.+, single stones, and fancy color rough. The goods to be tendered are directly from the source.

Tzoffey's President Avner Sofiov said he was excited to stage such a varied and interesting Rough Diamond Tender. "Some 140 rough buyers and dealers from around the world have already reserved their slots for viewing the goods. Due to a very positive response, Tzoffey's tender is actually overbooked, and therefore the Israel Diamond Exchange has allocated four extra viewing rooms to Tzoffey's on the last day of the week-long event to meet the overwhelming demand," Sofiov reported.

IDE Deputy President Arnon Juwal, who heads the IRDW organizing committee, praised Avner Sofiov of Tzoffey's for being his experience as an auctioneer ‘with a talent for finding interesting diamonds for his clientele’. Juwal added that more than 300 people have already registered for the event, almost reaching the ‘point of saturation," he noted. Fusion/I Hennig Tenders, which is handling the IDE tender project, reported that the flow of goods submitted for the IDE tender is continuing. Submission of rough goods to the IDE tender will continue until February 20. The IRDW is slated from March 9-13 at the Israel Diamond Exchange.
