The American Gem Society and American Gem Society Laboratories, the diamond and gem experts, have launched the second annual Perfect Proposal Toolkit, an online resource that suggests inventive recommendations for both traditional and unconventional wedding proposals.

The Toolkit is accessible online at the AGS website - www.americangemsociety.org/proposal. The Toolkit categorizes and provides tips for romantic, funny, adventurous, “2.0” and simple proposals, expert advice on selecting the type of proposal ring, what to look for when selecting the proper stones, settings, colors, sizes, etc., in effect simplifying the ‘proposal task’.

The Perfect Proposal Toolkit will be live for “proposal season”, having been launched on February 1 in advance of Valentine’s Day and will continue through March 20, which is recognized as National Proposal Day. This is to ensure people can plan well in advance.

Ruth Batson, CEO of American Gem Society and American Gem Society Laboratories mentioned that this Toolkit “is meant to be a great resource for providing creative and interactive proposal and ring buying ideas,” adding further that “I hope that visitors take advantage of the tips, as well as enter a contest to win jewelry!”

Visitors can enter to win a $2,500 gift card to use at any participating American Gem Society member jewelers. The Toolkit offers an easy to use “Find A Jeweler” feature that provides contact information on all 1,700 American Gem Society certified jewelers throughout the United States.
