‘Champagne diamond jewellery’ launched by Kiah

Keeping to the tradition of ‘Star studded events’, the launch party of ‘Champagne Collection’ by Kiah Diamond Jewellery also kicked started quite late at night with the entry of Bollywood diva and brand ambassador Sushmita Sen.

Held at spectacular Taj Lands End at Bandra on February 23, the event showcased breathtaking jewellery in rich shades by the sultry actress herself!

“I really love diamonds and Kiah’s strong brand characteristics appeal to my sensibilities. Champagne diamonds are naturally coloured diamonds almost like miracles of nature. That is what makes them unique. When I first saw the collection I was fascinated by its rich colours and brilliant sparkle,” said a lovely former Miss Universe.

Quite elated at the do, Brand Director, Kiah, Mr Gautam Gulati, said, “Naturally colored diamonds are extremely rare, since only one out of some 10,000 diamonds is a coloured one. Champagne diamonds are the latest trend in the international fashion world, with many Hollywood celebrities are spotted wearing these in shades of chocolate, champagne and cognac at various award ceremonies.”

Gulati further added, “Market trends show that women, who already wear colored diamonds would like something new and unique. With the exquisite collection and out contemporary designs we aim to fulfill this need to make every woman feel truly special.”

Champagne diamonds are naturally colored diamonds that come in a wide range of colours from light straw to rich cognac. Heat and pressure suffuse the colour brown into diamonds giving a vivid range of natural, breathtaking champagne diamonds. The four C’s of colour, cut, clarity and carat weight apply to coloured diamonds as well. The only difference being that the intensity of colour, not lack of it, plays a greater part in the valuation of coloured diamonds. The diamonds are graded in C1-C7 colour scales specifically created for champagne diamonds. C1 and C2 diamonds represent light champagne, C3 and C4 medium champagne and C5 and C6 dark champagne. The fancy cognac diamond is graded 7.

The ‘Champagne Diamond Collection’ by Kiah include, pendants, rings, earrings, bracelets, bangles, chandeliers, lariats and Y necklaces. Priced Rs 7,500 upwards, the collection will exclusively be sold at Kiah showrooms across the country.
