Around 90 Indian gem and jewellery manufacturers are participating in the Indian Pavilion hosted by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which opened today.
Rajiv Jain, Chairman, GJEPC, said, “India’s association with Hong Kong dates back to several years. The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show has always been a great platform and once again we hope to see fruitful results for our participants. China & India - the two eastern giants are now a formidable force to reckon with. GJEPC looks at the unfolding of the future and witness the two giants take the centre stage in Gems and Jewellery Globally".
The Indian contingent will be featuring in an additional location this year to accommodate the increased number of Indian exhibitors. The extended pavilion will be in meeting room N201 where loose diamond companies will be located. The other locations that will feature Indian gem and jewellery companies include: Finished Jewellery Exhibitors at Hall 5BC – 29 Indian G&J companies including the GJEPC, Gemstones Exhibitors at Hall 5E includes 17 Indian G&J companies, Loose Diamonds Exhibitors at Hall 3 E includes nine Indian G&J companies, Finished Jewellery Exhibitors at Expo Drive includes eight Indian G&J companies and the Meeting Room N 201 - Loose Diamond Hall – includes 28 Indian G&J companies.
The HK International Jewellery Show being held at Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre will close on 20th February. This is the 29th edition of the Fair.
