JVC extends support service through Affiliate Partnership programme

The JVC Affiliate Partnership Program is a special service platform created by the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), as a one-stop source for extending various support services to all segments of the jewellery industry. The JVC will affiliate with various companies to provide the services under the programme.

Its first affiliate partner is leading online identity verification and compliance solutions company - Veratad Technologies, LLC, which will provide identity verification services to jewellers protect their customers and business partners by verifying identities in person or online – thereby significantly reducing fraud and chargebacks.

These services, offered exclusively to JVC members, also support jewellers’ legal compliance obligations by identifying customers and business partners (required by the USA PATRIOT Act) and facilitating compliance with the required programme as per the FTC’s Red Flags Rule legislation of a written identity theft prevention programme for JVC jewellers extending credit.

Jewellers providing branded credit cards or in-house financing programmes can use these services to detect stolen credit cards or a stolen identity.
