UBM Asia joins hands with Rotaforte Fair Company SA

UBM Asia, which organises prominent international jewellery exhibitions in Hong Kong, China, India and Japan, has signed a marketing agreement with Rotaforte Fair Company SA to jointly promote the Istanbul Jewelry Show. The agreement supports two editions of the show in 2010, scheduled from 13 - 17 March and 14 - 17 October, and future events.

Both companies are working ways to formalise this commercial relationship into a joint venture with UBM Asia as the majority stakeholder. Jime Essink, President and CEO of UBM Asia said: "The alliance between UBM Asia and Rotaforte would serve to further develop the Istanbul Jewelry Show for the benefits of the jewellery industry in Turkey."

UBM Asia is part of United Business Media Limited (UBM.L) and is the organiser of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. It also publishes trade magazines and operates trade websites.
