The forthcoming Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair, will be held in two different venues - AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) and the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The total exhibit area has been reserved over 80,000 sq. mtrs. The show will commence at each venue on different dates - AWE on 15 -19 September and HKCEC on 17 -21 September and buyers at the main Fair can walk thorugh both the venues. Over 38,000 jewellery traders from 138 countries and regions are expected to attend.
The separation of two venues allows a greatrer variety of jewellery products to be displayed – this year from over 2,000 exhibitors. The event is expected to deliver - over 1,000 global manufacturers showcasing a full range of high-quality fine finished jewellery, over 400 loose diamond suppliers and over 700 diamond jewellery exhibitors, 820 suppliers of pearl and pearl jewellery, over 630 gemstone exhibitors, 700 gemstone manufacturers, over 130 suppliers in the category of equipment and packing. Besides jewellery and stones, the fair will encompass 20 group pavilions and 12 main themed halls and pavilions at both venues. To enable visitors to locate easily the products in which they are most interested, the exhibition halls in HKCEC and AWE will be classified according to categories and pavilions.
The organisers have planned various events within the show. Two world-renowned pearl auctions will be held: the Paspaley Pearl Auction from Australia and the Robert Wan Tahiti Perles Auction from French Polynesia, apart from informative forums and seminars. Enetertainment events like opening reception and gala dinners, jewellery parades and fashion shows are also on the agenda.
The Fair offers a dual advantage as it is held concurrently with Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair (AFJ) scheduled at the AsiaWorld-Expo. Buyers attending the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair can enjoy free access to AFJ.
