Kiran Gems Pvt Ltd has become a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council(RJC), the world’s leading standard setting agency for the global jewellery and watch industry. The company’s membership includes signing codes of conduct with the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Kiran Gems’ membership in the RJC reflects its commitment to responsible business practices and the wider sustainability agenda, aimed at creating positive impacts along the jewellery supply chain, from mine to retail. “We are happy to be a part of RJC,” stated Dinesh Lakhani, Director, Kiran Gems.

“We are committed to responsible business practices as our primary and definitive goal was our unwavering commitment toward our clients globally. We are honoured to be a part of such an important organization in this industry.” “As the world’s largest manufacturer of natural diamonds, Kiran is further demonstrating its leadership in a very large part of the global supply chain for jewellery,” said John Hall, Interim Executive Director of RJC.

“RJC hopes even more organisations will be inspired to follow in Kiran Gems’ footsteps to help put people first. With a record number of new RJC members this year, responsible business practices clearly have become critical enablers of growth, helping fuel both employee retention and recruitment for our members.” “This is an important milestone in the RJC’s relationship with India and the wider industry. We welcome Kiran Gems to the RJC and look forward to understanding how they implement the Code of Practices and offering any support we can to aid their sustainability journey,” said David Bouffard, Chair of the RJC
