Going by the looks of participation registered for the JCK Las Vegas, it hardly seems there was ever an economic recession in the US. Companies are estimating to gain huge and are intensely participating in the show this year. The Italian Pavilion – VicenzaOro will comprise of 180 Italian jewellery manufacturers at the show to be held at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas beginning May 30.
The Italian exhibition will deliver latest trends in Italian jewellery, from designers of Vicenza, Arezzo, Valenza, Milan, Naples, Florence and other cities in Italy, blending tradition, art and craftsmanship. The pavilion will allow for sampling of dazzling new designs and private meeting consoles. ‘TIMEPIECES’, which is a special section of the Veronese Ballroom, will also feature at the exhibition. It is dedicated to showcasing the latest from the Italian watch industry, wherein Italian fine jewellery designers have extended their craft to watches, creating beautiful pieces of jewellery. To feature in the TIMEPIECE section will be companies: Area Glamour; Artexpo; Binda; Blue White Diamonds; Comete; Crivelli; Gioielliamo; Hasbani; Lusso Italia; Penta Time (collection ZZERO); Raima; Rebecca; Sanalitro; and Zydo - for the new ring collection, to name a few.
The pavilion, developed in partnership with Fiera di Vicenza, is set up within the Bellini, Titian and Veronese Ballrooms, and is designed to evoke the aura of romanticism, similar to that of Venice. Its décor gives the experience of an imaginary gondola floating along the golden canals, while Italian wines and delicacies masterly prepared by well renowned Chef Luciano Pellegrini, of Valentino Restaurant at the Venetian are also a treat to indulge into. “We are always thrilled to welcome the VicenzaOro Italian Pavilion to JCK,” said Dave Bonaparte, Group Vice President, JCK Events. “We highly encourage the retailers to make plans to visit this beautiful section of the Show that offers opulent amenities, a vast and colorful selection of jewellery designs and a wonderful re-creation of the sites and sounds of Italy,.” he added.
