Coloured diamonds performed exceptionally well in the sale, with a pair of 3.29 CT EACH FANCY INTENSE BLUE INTERNALLY FLAWLESS DIAMOND EARRINGS, attracting heated bidding in the saleroom before being eventually sold to a phone bidder for HK$47,050,000 / US$6.1 million. This was accompanied by a 4.90 CT FANCY INTENSE PINK DIAMOND RING which sold for HK$29,050,000/US$3.8 million and an IMPORTANT FANCY VIVID YELLOW DIAMOND RING of 18.08 CTS which sold for twice the low estimate at HK$11,050,000/US$1.4 million.
