L.L.D Diamonds has been named the top Israeli exporter of 2005, with Leo Schachter Diamonds Ltd. and Moshe Namdar and Co. Ltd claiming the secons and third position. L.L.D exportied $601 million worth of polished diamonds and Leo Schachter , Moshe Namdar, who separated in mid-2005, exported $418 million and $185 million of polished exports respectively. In 2004, Schachter-Namdar Polishing Works Ltd. (combined Leo Schachter and Moshe Namdar) was named the top second exporter at $431 million.

New companies on the list include Joshua Zilberberg ($38 million) and Novel Collection Ltd. ($37 million). Companies no longer listed on the top 30 export companies include, E.F.D. Diamonds Ltd. (2004 $124 million), Aharon Schwartz & Sons (2004 $95 million), Eliaz Diamonds (2004 $54 million), L.D.Z. Diamonds Ltd. (2004 $35 million), Delta Diamonds Ltd (2004 $32 million), and Eliazarov Reuven & Sons Diamonds Ltd. (2004 $30 million) which recently declared insolvency worth $34 million.

The most notable move was by Yonder Diamonds from 28th to 19th top exporter, an increase of 77% in exports to $53 million. Israel diamond controller, Shmuel Mordechai said that Israel�s total polished diamond exports from the top 30 companies reached $3.1 billion and accounted for 47% of total polished diamond exports during 2005 ($6.7 billion). The list of the top 30 companies does not include eight companies which requested that their financial data not be publicized. Polished diamond exports for the eight companies reached $438 million, comprising 7% of Israel�s net polished exports.
