STPL Bags Prestigious AICRA Award for its Pioneering Work in AI and Robotics

The AICRA AI Awards is India's First Global Award Ceremony in Artificial Intelligence. These esteemed awards are initiated by New Delhi based All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA), a Non- Profit with over 35,000 members. It works towards setting the standards of Robotics and Automation globally. The awards are conferred to the companies which are successfully implementing Artificial Intelligence in Robots to make machines that are more efficient and deliver smarter results. The award identifies the best among the best in India's AI Industry.

Artificial Intelligence technology is transforming business models and challenging the status quo in the business community. Today, the diamond industry is growing at an exponential rate, on the wings of the technological power. The industry has scaled such a height today, that it is really hard to believe that, few years back the same industry was struggling for existence. Challenges were many. But the key problem the industry was facing at that time was lack of technological advancement. Diamond is rare and precision is the ultimate key to ensure the best value of a processed diamond, but still, the entire diamond processing was heavily dependent on human efforts. The Indian Diamond Industry needed a big transformation in terms of technology; modernization.

The conventional diamond processing technologies were unproductive and less versatile and hence, they were resulting in more weight loss and damages to Diamonds. And then STPL came into the picture. Having already transformed the global diamond processing industry with its pioneering work in laser technologies, STPL is now poised to usher in a new era of robotics in the industry. STPL has already developed the world's first robots, called ROBOMATIC and ROBOCUT for the diamond industry. The Artificial Intelligence powered Robot by STPL, performs complex diamond cutting operations with
utmost precision. As the processing of a diamond completes, the Robot automatically feeds new diamond to achieve non stop working of the laser machine. The Robots are designed to make diamond processing completely accurate, rapid and human error-free.
