Gems and Jewellery industry is organizing a massive rally at Ramlila Ground, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi, on 17.03.2016 from 09:00AM to 3:00PM. A large gathering is expected to attend the Rally from states of Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and in sizeable numbers from rest of the country.

Elaborate traffic arrangements are being made for the Rally, but it is appealed to all the participants to follow some guidelines to reach the venue and maintain order, as stipulated by authorities.

Please use public transport, preferably Delhi Metro to reach the venue, nearest Metro stations are New Delhi Metro Station and New Delhi Airport Express Metro Station. Ram LeelaMaidan is approximately 500 metres away from both the Metro stations.

Coming by air:

Arriving at T3, take Airport Express direct to New Delhi Station, approximate travel time is 20 minutes, Ram LeelaMaidan is approximately 500 metres from the New Delhi station.

Arriving at 1D, take shuttle bus to Aero city Airport Express Station, and take the train to New Delhi Station, approximate travel time is 20 minutes, Ram LeelaMaidan is approximately 500 metres from the New Delhi station.

Coming by train:

All the major railway stations in Delhi are connected to Delhi Metro network and a Delhi Metro Network Map is being provided with this advisory to plan your travel. Just remember the New Delhi Station of Delhi Metro.

Travelling by bus or cars:

Limited parking for private vehicles shall be available near the venue. Participants are advised to park their cars at locations listed in the document after the routes.

Road Routes for Buses to the venue of rally:

From Gurgaon:

a) National Highway-8 - DhaulaKuan-Ring Road-Ashram Chowk- Sarai Kale Khan- Rajghat.

b) Mehrauli Gurgaon Road- Aurobindo Marg-AIIMS-Ring Road- Ashram-Sarai Kale Khan- Rajghat.

From Faridabad:

NH-2 – Badarpur – Ashram - Ring Road - Rajghat.

From Sonepat:

Singhu Border-NH-1 - G.T. Road-MukarbaChowk- AzadpurMandi - Ring Road - Civil Lines - Chandgi Ram Akhara - Rajghat.

In case Outer Ring Road is free, vehicles will be turning on this road and reach Chandgi Ram Akhara. Officers concerned will take decision based on ground situation.

From Rohtak:

NH-10, Rohtak Road - Panjabi Bagh - Ring Road - AzadpurMandi - Civil Lines - Chandgi Ram Akhara - Rajghat.

Through Dhansa Border:

DhaulaKuan - Ring Road - Ashram Chowk - Sarai Kale Khan - Rajghat.

From Ghaziabad:

a) Gazipur Border – NH-24 - Nizamuddin Bridge -Ring Road - Rajghat.

b) Apsara Border - G.T. Road- ISBT - Ring road - Rajghat.

c) Bhopura Border - Wazirabad Road - Pushta Road - GT Road - ISBT- Ring Road- Rajghat.

d) Loni Border - Loni Road - Wazirabad Road- Pushta Road - GT Road - ISBT- Ring Road -Rajghat.

From Noida:

a) DND Flyover - Ring Road- Rajghat.

b) Chilla Border - Noida Link Road - NH-24 - Nizamuddin Bridge - Ring Road- Rajghat.

Parking for buses shall only be available at RAJGHAT. Participants can walk to Ram LeelaMaidan which is approximately 1.5 kilometre. The pedestrian route is being shared.

Parking Areas for cars:

Palika Bazar-Connaught Place Underground Car Park, G.B. Road Shradhanand Marg, Asaf Ali Road-Ajmeri Gate to HamdardChowk, Asaf Ali Road- HamdardChowk to Turkman Gate, Asaf Ali Road-Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate, Vishnu Digambar Marg Kotla Marg, Underground Parking infront of LNJP Hospital, New Delhi Railway Station-Ajmeri Gate Side, New Delhi Railway Station Metro Parking, MCD Parking Underground, Tagore Road and behind Civic Center.

Entry to Ram LeelaMaidan:

Gate number 3 is reserved ENTRY for LADIES ONLY.

Gate numbers 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are ENTRY for ALL.

Anyone carrying bags (please avoid if possible), must use gate numbers 5 and 7, which have bag scanners. Gate number 3 which is reserved for ladies, shall also have BAG SCANNER.

DO NOT CARRY:

Fire Arms. Lathis, Batons, Swords or any other sharp metallic objects. Umbrellas. Portable PA systems or loudspeakers. Please be careful with banners and placards.
