1. Slow market and Chinese recession certainly has an impact on the show.
2. Exhibitors had come with lowest expectation, accordingly response has been little better.
3. It's a buyers market, diamond prices are soft, there is certainly impact of market and recent drop in roughy prices of De Beers and Alrosa.
4. In gemstones, precious goods are not that impacted as other semi precious which were popular in China market in previous years. Sapphires and Rubies are moving slow and are able to move if prices are kept soft, where as for gemstones like tourmaline, rubellite, the prices have really slashed and so has been demand
5. Buyers turnout has been good but mostly are fishing around for a deal.
6. Jewellery show started off decent on the first day, little slow on second day.
7. Buyers looking for goods only as per their demand, no stocking.
8. Indian pavilion got really low response, very few walk-ins.
