The Natural Diamond Council in collaboration with RimZim Dadu showcased a unique amalgamation of intricate stories of love and celebratory moments with the enduring sparkle and ageless beauty of modern, elegant natural diamond jewellery at the FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week. Distinctive and timeless, exquisite natural diamond jewellery has been an integral part of slow fashion, and with this show, called A Sea Of A Million Stories, the NDC brought to life new age craftsmanship in tandem with a celebration of special moments adorned with memorable chronicles. Celebrating luxury and extraordinary craftsmanship, the designs were adorned with glimmering natural diamond jewellery from renowned jewellers like Amrapali Jewels, Goenka India, AKM Mehrasons Jewellers, DiaColor, Jaipur Gems and Bholasons Jewellery.

Centred around the theme of “A Sea Of Million Stories”, the set featured a design collection that highlighted real-life personal stories of romance, triumphs and love, and the role natural diamonds play in these moments like no other. The extravaganza designed by celebrated architect Rajat Sodhi began from the moment people entered the space with a sky full of diamonds engulfed in clouds, ignited by tiny love notes. Keeping her signature silhouettes in the forefront, RimZim Dadu combined the rich colour card with contemporary moulded forms that ended in the ultimate selection of luxury prét wear with a contemporary appeal.

“Natural diamonds are an embodiment of our personal style; versatile, elegant and one-of-a-kind. We took the same thought forward this year at FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week, with our theme of “A Sea Of A Million Stories”. In the show we have combined the designs of celebrated fashion designer RimZim Dadu with exquisite jewellery from some of the best jewellers in India. The jewellery you saw is a sneak peek into NDC India’s upcoming annual trend report. With intricate craftsmanship and modern designs featuring new-age diamond cuts, fancy cuts and a twist on classics, the natural diamonds seen on the runway this year have been a true representation of what the youth is looking for today – jewellery that honours their individuality. I am very proud to have collaborated with such exceptional jewellers who immortalise the precious beauty of nature through their impeccable artistry.”  said Richa Singh, Managing Director, Natural Diamond Council, India and the Middle East.
