Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), addressed industry leaders at the 6th ICC Gems and Jewellery Summit 2024, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. Focused on the summit's theme, “Innovate, Elevate, Globalise,” Ray spotlighted recent initiatives such as the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) in Dubai, which serves as a crucial platform for showcasing Indian craftsmanship. He also emphasized GJEPC's pioneering research in lab-grown diamonds, which reflects the industry's growing commitment to sustainable luxury.

Ray further discussed the India Jewellery Park Mumbai (IJPM), digital advancements, and the impact of strategic trade agreements. With robust international marketing collaborations and a focus on sustainability and innovation, GJEPC aims to set new industry standards, solidifying India’s position as a global leader in fine jewellery craftsmanship.
