The Diamond Dealers Club of New York City, in collaboration with the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India, is set to host an exclusive "Taste of India" event from August 19-22. This event will feature a curated selection of 15-20 Indian suppliers showcasing diamonds, lab-grown gems, and coloured gemstones, alongside over 30 distinguished US Diamond Dealers Club members.
The event offers a rare opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in India's rich gemstone heritage without any buying obligations. US coordinators from GJEPC will be on hand to welcome guests and guide them through the trading floor, ensuring a seamless experience with enhanced security measures in place.
Advance registration is required through a dedicated link, with confirmations and detailed instructions provided upon acceptance. Industry enthusiasts and professionals alike are encouraged to seize this unique occasion to explore and engage with top-notch suppliers from India.
“I’m looking forward to and excited to see more at this year’s Taste of India week,” shared Michael Lebowitz of MHL Trading, reflecting the anticipation surrounding the upcoming event.
In addition to the NYC showcase, GJEPC has announced an all-expenses-paid "Buyer Seller Meet" scheduled for September 30 to October 1 in Mumbai. This exclusive event invites participants to connect with leading Indian diamantaires and includes a visit to the renowned Bourse. Optional participation in the Jaipur colored gems and jewelry event from October 3-4 further enriches the experience, with limited space available and no mandatory buying commitments.
Early registration is strongly advised for those interested in attending the April 2025 shows in Jaipur, Mumbai, and Surat, underscoring the GJEPC's commitment to fostering international trade relationships and promoting India's vibrant gemstone industry on a global stage.
