The five-day fashion extravaganza, held at Sony Hall, featured a vibrant mix of designer showcases for Spring/Summer 2025, with IGI’s diamond and gemstone jewellery taking centre stage alongside the cutting-edge collections.

IGI supplied a wide range of fine jewellery, including exquisite solitaires and gemstone pieces, all meticulously graded by the institute. The collaboration offered designers an opportunity to pair their creations with statement jewellery from international brands, blending the latest fashion trends with top-notch craftsmanship.

Tehmasp Printer, CEO and Managing Director of IGI India, spoke on the partnership: “Runway 7 gave IGI a platform to not only showcase our jewellery but also emphasize the importance of transparency in the industry. Through our certification reports, we aim to ensure that customers can make informed, confident purchases, knowing the authenticity and quality of their diamonds and gemstones are guaranteed.”

Each IGI certification report details the diamond’s proportions, clarity characteristics, and laser inscriptions where applicable, underscoring the institute’s commitment to educating consumers on the value of accurate grading.

Runway 7 also made waves for its philanthropic efforts, raising over $100,000 for Multiple Sclerosis research at Mount Sinai Hospital. Alongside the glitz and glamour, the event spotlighted Elysian’s Catwalk Furbaby, a runway segment dedicated to animal welfare.

Christina Kovacs, Runway 7’s Director of Designer Relations, highlighted the impact of the collaboration: “We were thrilled to work with IGI this season. Their fine jewellery not only elevated the runway but also helped raise awareness about the importance of IGI reports in safeguarding consumer interests. It was a natural fit with our mission to celebrate fashion while supporting meaningful causes.”

With designers like Nicole Miller, Alex Foxsworth, and Christina Strayer gracing the runway, the combination of innovative fashion and IGI’s stunning jewellery ensured that this season of Runway 7 was a dazzling success. The collaboration between IGI and Runway 7 exemplified how the world of fashion and fine jewellery can come together to create a memorable and impactful showcase.
