Hari Krishna Exports Celebrates International Yoga Day with Global Employee Participation

Nearly 4,000 employees of Hari Krishna Exports joined in the global celebration of International Yoga Day from various corners of the globe, highlighting their enthusiastic participation in this ancient Indian practice.

In Mumbai, India, Hari Krishna Exports, a distinguished name in the diamond and jewelry industry, once again marked International Yoga Day with fervor and wide-ranging involvement across its offices in Surat, Mumbai, and internationally. This year, nearly 4,000 employees of the HK Group gathered on their yoga mats to partake in the global festivities dedicated to this age-old discipline.

The Surat office saw a turnout of approximately 2,000 employees, while in Mumbai, around 1,600 employees joined, along with several hundred more from other offices of the HK Group worldwide. Participants engaged in various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, fostering an atmosphere charged with positivity and a spirit of unity.

Savji Dholakia, Founder and Chairman of Hari Krishna Group, expressed his belief in the transformative power of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. "By participating in International Yoga Day, we aim to foster unity among individuals and promote a harmonious world through this ancient practice," he emphasized.

Savji Dholakia shared insights into his own spiritual journey, which began with a profound experience of Vipassana meditation in 2005-2006. He highlighted the importance of inner peace and self-discovery, which have become foundational in his life. This commitment to mindfulness and meditation is reflected in Hari Krishna Exports' daily operations, where Vipassana meditation sessions are held after lunch every day, contributing significantly to the holistic development and productivity of its employees.

Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, who led the Yoga Session in Mumbai, affirmed Hari Krishna Exports' dedication to promoting employee wellness through activities like yoga, meditation, wellness camps, marathons, and medical check-ups.
