The innovative project, conceptualized by New York City-based jewellery brand Guzema Fine Jewelry, took place amidst the serene beauty of a garden in Rustic Canyon, Santa Monica, serving as the perfect backdrop for this fusion of floral and jewellery art.
Photographed by the renowned Liza Voloshin and styled by Olga Yanul, the campaign captures the essence of nature's beauty intertwined with the elegance of fine jewellery. Each florist showcased their creativity by crafting stunning floral sculptures, wearing carefully selected pieces from Guzema's collections.
Valeriya Guzema, the founder of Guzema Fine Jewelry, expressed her inspiration behind the campaign, stating, "Flowers are Nature’s jewellery, and there’s a genuine connection between jewellery and floral design. This campaign celebrates that connection, highlighting the talent of these florists who embody the artistry of both worlds."
The featured florists included Jenya Tsybulskyi of Jenya Flowers, known for his work at Jennifer Lopez’s wedding; Brittany Asch of Brrch Floral, endorsed by prestigious publications like the NY Times and Vogue; and Sophia Moreno-Bunge of Isa Isa, recognized for her work with top fashion houses. Each artist wore distinct Guzema pieces that complemented their creations, adding an extra layer of elegance and artistry to their designs.
The campaign kicked off on July 11, 2024, with a series of captivating images and videos shared on social media and the Guzema website. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the project holds personal significance for the production team, many of whom have ties to Ukraine, echoing the brand’s heartfelt connections.
Valeriya Guzema shared her enthusiasm for the campaign, remarking, "Creating this was a joyful delight for all of us, a way to evoke harmony and grace, even in the darkest of times. It is a testament to the inspirational power of Nature, and I am grateful to each artist and member of our team."
As the "Flower Power" campaign unfolds, it promises to inspire audiences with its celebration of creativity, beauty, and the enduring allure of both floral and jewellery artistry.
