Through its labs, SGL offers clients its unique Jewellery Reports, Diamond Reports; Mobile Laboratory services all over the state as well as Diamond Education and Retail support all maintaining stringent international standards. SGL’s endeavour in providing certification to Jewellers from the region will help provide retailers and customers alike, the option to certify their diamonds and diamond studded jewellery reassuring them of the quality and origins of the diamond used.
The guests of honour Pankaj Parekh, Bachraj Bamalwa, Roopchand Sawansukha, Subir Sen, Nirmal Dandiya and Shankar Saraf, lighted the auspicious lamps along with the SGL directors Chirag Soni and Shirin Bandukwalla. Talking about SGL, Pankaj Parekh, Vice Chairman of the GJEPC, said “SGL brings in its British protocol of international grading standards with strategic locations which cover the manufacturing as well as the high end retail areas of the city which will give easy access to the trade and help in certification thereby offering more transparency”.

The two new laboratories in Kolkata are an addition to a network of SGL’s 8 other international laboratories across the country.
