IDL, Dubai, approved to serve Indian Diamond industry

Standardization of grades important: Peter Meeus, CEO, IDL

According to the industry reports, International Diamond laboratories IDl, Dubai has received the permission of the Indian government to provide its services for the Indian diamond industry.

The lab, which will have branches in Antwerp,
Belgium, and Mumbai, India, will issue its first certificate in
September. Peter Meeus, who will become its chief executive officer,
will head it.

At the recently held Mines to Market Conference in Mumbai Peter Meeus, CEO of IDL initiated the need for standardization of grades.
