About J 2013 will take place in Venice and syncs well with the objectives that Fiera di Vicenza set itself in the FDV 2011/2015 Strategic Plan, which intends to promote the role of premium Italian jewellery and the selection of the very best of international jewellery production, leaders in design, creativity and quality manufacturing, through positioning and offer segmentation policies. The collaboration agreement with the Associazione Orafa Valenzana (AOV), signed during VICENZAORO Winter by Roberto Ditri, President of Fiera di Vicenza, and Francesco Barberis, President of AOV, is heading in this direction.
AOV is a historical Association founded in 1945 that represents the Valenza District (Alessandria), the world's leading area for the production of high quality jewellery and precious stone mounting. The agreement identifies Fiera di Vicenza as a strategic partner in the organisation of national and international events for the jewellery sector, and premium jewellery in particular. The collaboration's starting point will be About J 2013 where AOV will be lending Fiera di Vicenza its support in promoting the initiative. Two new eventson the format of by invitation only, which will combine business with the Italian lifestyle and will propose new ways to create trade relations in highly suitable contexts, are being considered. The events will be organised with the institutional support of organisations specifically delegated to promoting Made in Italy abroad.
“Collaboration between Fiera di Vicenza and AOV," said President Roberto Ditri, " is further proof of the importance of the joint efforts that Fiera di Vicenza has already started with leading organisations both in Italy and abroad. The aim is to provide maximum potential for our projects and initiatives in order to best represent Italian-made jewellery throughout the world. Fiera di Vicenza is strategically moving in those markets that, either for their size, growth potential and segmentation, favour high quality goods. The combination between the top production of the Italian territories represented by AOV and the international dimension of Fiera di Vicenza is bound to generate new opportunities for our production companies.”
"The agreement signed between our Association and Fiera di Vicenza involves collaboration programmes that we believe will lead to concrete benefits for Italian jewellery and increase the Italian appeal", said President of AOV Francesco Barberis.
