The KGK Group, a leading diamond and diamond manufacturing company and also the umbrella company of the high-end jewellery retail brand – Entice, opened a flagship Entice showroom in New Delhi. This opening follows the break of ties with the Sehgal Brothers of Blues Jewellery. Another showroom in New Delhi is expected to come up in South Extension.

This inauguration falls in line with the company’s retail expansion plans in domestic and international markets, which the company is not linking to the pace of the economy recovery. As Mr Sanjay Kothari, vice-chairman of the KGK group said that “It is always the right time to open a showroom”.

He further added that “In retail, we are expanding in China, India and Brazil. This is our 16th store opening, with 12 stores in China, one in Hong Kong and one each in Mumbai and Jaipur. The group also plans to open three more stores in China besides one more in New Delhi”

The new flagship store in New Delhi is built over 1200 square feet in the upmarket M Block market of Greater Kailash.

Entice offers a portfolio of jewellery, within which the handcrafted high-end jewellery is mainly manufactured in Hong Kong, while 30 percent is manufactured in India. The reason for this is that the finish required for jewellery is currently available in Hong Kong. Manju Kothari, Hong Kong-based creative director, KGK, Entice who leads an in-house team of international designers said that some pieces of jewellery which had a fine unevenness of design, like a 3D effect - “is only possible to achieve in Hong Kong. Designers from Italy and even Harry Winston come to Hong Kong to get this look, the flexibility and the fine finish”.
