HRD Antwerp demonstrates its unique services at Jewelry Shanghai

HRD Antwerp NV has lined up a host of interesting presentations for its participation at the Jewelry Shanghai trade show. The event is slated between April 9-12, 2010 and the HRD Antwerp NV will be a key participant in the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion at the show.

HRD Antwerp will demonstrate its D-Scope DV4, portable microscope, HRD Antwerp Hearts & Arrows measuring system and present its refined cut grade and exclusive security features included in its new HRD Antwerp certificate, such as line structures, watermark, embossed logo, fluo marks and micro text.

The D-Scope DV4 has been designed for the jewellery market and is a high quality stereo zoom microscope with gem manipulator and vacuum system, and is equipped with a sophisticated illumination system with unique halogen darkfield lighting and LED-top lights for quick examination possibilities.

HRD Antwerp is also the official diamond partner at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, where it will exhibit the story of the Lesotho Promise, the 15th largest diamond ever found (603 carats) and auctioned in Antwerp. The exhibition will also showcase special cuts and impressive diamonds supplied by Antwerp-based companies (3D diamonds, Gassan, Rosy Blue, Flanders Collection, Safdico, Pluczenik, Eurostar, Barsamian Diamonds, Beladamas, Luc Vets, Drybooms Diamonds and R.D.H. Diamonds).

A highlight at the booth will be the first ever opportunity for visitors to buy diamonds at the Belgian Pavilion with an HRD Antwerp Certificate, and even have the diamond mounted into a jewel accompanied by an HRD Antwerp Jewellery Report.
