Dimexon launches caratPLUS desk

The new product desk will be for diamonds of 1carat and above

Leading diamond manufacturing company Dimexon, has introduced a new product desk for diamonds of size one carat and above, namely caratPLUS desk. The company explains caratPLUS as an extension to its wide range of products with a special focus on 1 carat+ diamond sizes, carrying its benchmarks of product quality and services recognised in its smaller size diamonds. The SAP ERP system at Dimexon integrates the desk with in-house manufacturing facilities to provide a direct single point access for entire product inventory to customers along with tracking abilities to conform to mine of origin programmes.

Mr. Rajiv P. Mehta, CEO of Dimexon Diamonds said, “The addition of the caratPLUS desk will extend our renowned product range in Round Brilliant Cuts as a mainstream offering to our valued worldwide customers. As preferred suppliers of loose diamonds and jewellery to the leading watch and jewellery brands of the world, we aim to strengthen our value proposition through a superior product offering backed by organisation skills in the manufacturing and presentation of loose diamonds.”

Mr. Christopher Bull, an industry professional with experience of over 20 years in large diamonds, will head caratPLUS desk from Dimexon’s Antwerp office. The demand for large stones will now be catered through sales desks at each of Dimexon’s global offices which are interconnected with the product desk.

Dimexon introduced its caratPLUS initiative at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, March 2010, and now at BaselWorld show 2010 at its booth numbers Hall of Visions 2.1, Stand No. A22.

Dimexon, today has a presence in diamond cutting and polishing, jewellery manufacturing and distribution to leading diamond jewellery and watch brands and retailers in the world.
