An auction is being organised on September 16, 2009, wherein three separate estates of rare fancy colour diamonds, colourless diamonds, diamond jewellery, and coloured stone jewellery will be put up for sale. The auction will be held in the Penthouse (34th Floor) of 580 Fifth Avenue and is being conducted by Gemological Appraisal Association, Inc, part of the Palmieri Group.

Don Palmieri, court appointed broker for the Treasure Trove (rare collection of fancy colour diamond rings) appointed broker for the Howard W. Klein estate (certified diamonds and jewellery) and as court appointed Liquidating Trustee for Alison Gem Corp (loose diamonds and commercial diamond jewellery), will auction all the lots in three sessions. Speaking on the variety what one can expect in the auction, Don Palmieri said “Regardless of what type of estate these diamonds and jewels come from, there is something for every type of jewellery business and collector.”

Session 1 will put up five rare fancy colour diamond rings, from the Treasure’s Trove collection. These five rings were from the Simon & Shuster/Treasure Trove NY Times bestsellers list, “Secrets of the Alchemist Dar” treasure hunt. This collection includes rare diamonds: extremely rare natural fancy red diamond, natural fancy intense blue diamond and fancy vivid yellow.

Session 2 will put up loose diamonds & diamond & gemstone jewellery, from the Estate of Jeweler Howard W. Klein. This would include 45 certified high quality round brilliant and fancy shape diamonds at up to 60 below list, platinum, 18K, and 14K diamond semi-mounts and wedding rings at steep discounts and pendants, necklaces, bracelets, ear studs all at low reserves.

Session 3 will have loose diamonds and diamond jewellery, liquidation of Alison Gem Corp. including 18K, 14K, & 10K diamond bracelets, diamond solitaire rings, and diamond necklaces, certified loose diamonds of commercial quality.

The event will begin with a presentation by Bruno Scarselli, principal of Scarselli Diamonds, and by the NCDIA, with a discussion on appreciation of Fancy Colour Diamonds. The diamond and jewellery lots can be viewed at www.Gemtips.com or call Don or Angelo at 212-869-9792 to schedule a viewing.
