Sanghavi Diamonds named as highest importer of C&P diamonds

Reports state that Sanghavi Diamonds will be awarded by Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), as the highest importer of cut and polished diamonds into the US, during the fiscal year 2008-09. This will be the fourth consecutive win for the company in the same category. The award is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Government of India.

Companies that have significantly contributed to their industry stand eligible for such an award.

GJEPC will formally hand over the award to the company at its Award Function slated in Jaipur during October 2009.
