diamond world news service

H Samuel is inviting owners of gold jewellery to use its new gold recycling service and recycle their white, yellow and rose gold jewellery for a cash value.

The consumer has a choice to send necklaces, bracelets, chains, pendants and lockets for recycling, in a procedure explained on the H Samuel website or can be enquired on the phone line. The process involves the consumer requesting a pack, filling a form and sending the gold in a prepaid special delivery envelope provided by H Samuel. H Samuel informs the consumer about the valuation by phone or email, which the consumer is not obligated to accept. If accepted, the consumer receives a cheque.

The service promises to offer competitive prices for gold jewellery from 9ct up to 22ct with free postage and valuations. All the gold jewellery sent for recycling is insured to £500, and is unpacked in a secure area, valued by trained jewellers.
