Sarin Technologies presented Quazer, a green laser system for diamond processing to the broad audience of Israeli diamantairs in a seminar, held in cooperation with the Israel Diamond Technology Center (IDT), last week at the Sheraton City Tower in Ramat Gan. Quazer is an innovative combination of unique laser and rough planning applications, which creates a unique laser system for diamond processing. The system processes all high-quality diamonds, maximizing the standards of diamond bruting and shaping. The seminar was moderated by Udi Lederer, Sarin Technologies VP Marketing.
Oded Ben-Shmuel, Sarins Quazer Product Manager, presented the green laser system and its features, which differs from other systems in the market in its high throughput, low weight loss and unattended operation which enables around the clock processing. Ben-Shmuel highlighted the fact that the system is equipped with software which significantly reduces the damage of stones, and advanced software which enables sawing, bruting and shaping in a single operation. The system is equipped with a protective enclosure, which shields the beam path against dust and thus prevents optical damage and a control system ensuring a clean cut plane. It also enables double sided sawing, which contributes to the minimal weight loss, high accuracy of shape and center and high throughput in sawing speed and number of stones processed.
Roni Ben-Ari, Sarins Rough Planning Products Manager, presented the Advisor 2.0- an advanced application for diamond planning, which made its debut in March this year. Ben-Ari explained the interface between Advisor 2.0 and Quazer and emphasized the unique features of the software, especially the ability to chart inclusions and consider them in the rough planning process that can now include multiple parts (three or more) of the stone. He said that the best value planning of the stone and the inclusion charting in the diamond processing will assist the diamantair in maximizing his profit.
Zeev Leshem, CEO, commented: We are proud that the Israeli diamantairs were amongst the first to be exposed to our latest products, as we consider Israel our home base and a strategic business region for Sarin.A similar seminar was held by Sarin earlier in March in Antwerp, Belgium, where diamantairs were first introduced to the Quazer and to its innovative and unique features. The audience was extremely impressed with the technologies advanced abilities and was enthusiastic that they could maximize their profits.
