Senior members of the ICA, including ICA President Andrew Cody and Marketing Director Marisa Zachovay, are visiting the hubs of gemstones and gemstone jewellery, to promote the forthcoming ICA International Gem Show Dubai. Organised by the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA), the event is scheduled for October 13-15, 2008 at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel. It is outlined to focus on loose stones and interact with the biggies of the trade including manufacturers and designers.

The duo has visited Bangkok, Jaipur, Dubai, London and Paris. Andrew Cody said “We want buyers to know they will have a new kind of trade show experience where they have the opportunity to meet the major suppliers of gemstones from around the world under one roof.”

Around 80 percent of the exhibit area has been so far booked by various exhibitors form 19 countries. Besides the profile of the exhibitors, the organizers are also capitalizing on the show venue- Dubai as it offers a strategic location midway between the Far East and Europe. Dubai would be a new location to visit for trade shows and it offers an enjoyable environment to conduct business with pleasure.
