Bharat Diamond Sports League "Box Cricket" Under - Arm Tournament a Huge Success

The first season of Bharat Diamond Sports League’s

  • “BOX CRICKET” tournament organised by Bharat Diamond Bourse saw huge success with record turnout. The 19 Day tournament spanning over 91 matches altogether witnessed participation from a total of 28 elite teams from among BDB members. The objective of conducting the season 1 BDSL was to encourage team spirit, motivation, and foster camaraderie amongst the team members.

    The tournament was played both for the Box Cricket League and Corporate Trophy Championship, with teams fervently competing to claim the coveted championship titles. The “BDB Stars” team emerged victorious in the Box Cricket League, while the “BDB Warriors” secured the runner-up position. The “Ramson Bulls” claimed the Corporate Trophy championship title, with “Vaibhav Titans” finishing as the runners-up to clinch the corporate trophy.

    The tournament also recognized the outstanding individual performances, with Jay Shah from the Ramson Bulls being awarded the Best Batsman, and Akshay Kamble from the BDB Warriors being awarded the Best Bowler. Kishor Vithani from the Sanjay Brothers team was declared the Man of the Series for his remarkable performances throughout the tournament.

    Mehul Shah, Vice-President of BDB, expressed his profound gratitude and felicitations to all the participants after the successful culmination of the tournaments. The esteemed Board of Directors of BDB were present during the award ceremony to extend their congratulations to the deserving winning teams and individuals.

    Shah thanked Saket Mehta, esteemed Committee Member, for his deep and passionate involvement in the diligent and meticulous organization of the tournament. He further conveyed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Security & Fire Safety Department for their highly proficient and expert management of the tournament. JK Star sponsored the tournament and its Director Shailesh bhai, graced the award ceremony with his presence. The other respected sponsors of the tournament were, M/s KARP IMPEX, M/s Laxmi Diamonds, and M/s Asian Star, were too highly appreciated for their invaluable and unwavering support.

    The tournament was a splendid affair, thoroughly enjoyed by all the esteemed members, and highly successful in promoting the community's harmonious spirit. The winning teams and individuals were duly honored during the distinguished award ceremony, which was attended by a vast number of BDB members. The members cherished and revelled in the grandeur and majesty of the tournament, and expressed their ardent desire for Season 2 to commence soon.
