International School of Gemology selects Instappraise as the preferred software solution for jewellery appraisers

Instappraise, announced a new collaboration with the International School of Gemology. Through this partnership, the premier gemological education organization now officially recognizes and recommends Instappraise.com as the appraisal platform of choice to all ISG Registered Gemologist Appraiser students and graduates.

Robert James FGA, GG, President of the International School of Gemology stated “To celebrate this new collaboration, Instappraise will provide a free, one-year subscription to all current and future ISG RGA graduates, helping to encourage entrepreneurship and new business initiatives in the jewellery appraisal industry.”

For the Registered Gemologist Appraiser program, the ISG now offers a complete, eight-course curriculum of gemology and jewellery appraisal, including a full gemological lab and reference gemstones and covers the following topics: 

  • ISG101 - Diamonds (14 lessons)
  • ISG102 - Colored Gemstones (17 lessons)
  • ISG103 - Gemology Tools and Techniques (16 lessons)
  • ISG104 - Created and Treated Gemstones (14 lessons)
  • ISG105 - Introduction to Watches (6 lessons)
  • ISG106 - Pearls (9 lessons)
  • ISG107 - Personal Property Appraisal (16 lessons)
  • ISG108 - Evaluating Damaged Jewelry (8 lessons)
