2021 sees the INTERGEM — International Trade Fair for Gems, Jewellery and Gemstone Objects — once again issue its invitation to Idar-Oberstein, the heartland of jewellery and gemstone design. As one of the few fairs to be successfully staged last year under covid conditions, the fair organisers are optimistic that the clear hygiene and event concept as well as the easing of travel restrictions will draw even more exhibitors and visitors back to the jewellery and gemstone metropolis of Idar-Oberstein.

The INTERGEM 2021 begins a week earlier than last year and will take place at Messe Idar-Oberstein from Friday, 24 September, to Monday, 27 September. The range of premium-coloured gemstones and diamonds is without parallel, drawing jewellers, goldsmiths and designers from throughout the world. In addition, perfectly worked and designed jewellery will also be on offer, with a dedicated hall and modern stand concepts further enhancing the focus this year.
Informative presentations and papers are being prepared by exhibitors and international speakers and will also be present online to pass on their expertise to visitors and exhibitors. Positive experience with streaming formats made the choice of a partially digital presentation of the fair an easy one for the organisers.

Fair boss Mirko Arend and Project Manager Selina Schmidt currently expect around 100 exhibitors to attend, including the companies Groh & Ripp OHG, Emil Weis Opals KG, Richard Hans Becker GmbH & Co. KG, Hans D. Krieger KG, das Atelier Tom Munsteiner and Torben Skov Pearls.

Alongside the new layout of the halls, the online presence of the INTERGEM has also been made more modern and concise. Potential exhibitors and visitors can find all relevant information for their fair visit at www.intergem.de. It is possible to register as trade visitor directly via this site, with the option of subsequently acquiring tickets in the online shop.

The INTERGEM 2021 team looks forward to offering an in-situ fair at the end of September at which exhibitors and visitors can meet again in person and interact in a pleasant and safe ambience.
