Continuing with their efforts to promote natural diamonds, the Diamond Producers Association (DPA) has gone regional in their latest communication for their ‘New Mom Gift’ initiative, under the all-encompassing umbrella of, ‘Real is Rare Real is a Diamond’. Launched last year, the ‘Real is Rare, Real is a Diamond’ campaign focuses on often unacknowledged moments in a couple’s journey that defines their relationship and is unique to them.

The birth of a child is perhaps the most authentic, precious and rare moment for any couple, as it is the day their bond strengthens further with parenthood. Only a gift that is as real, rare unique and precious as a natural diamond can commemorate the journey of this couple as they become a family, thus “Celebrating the miracle of life, with a miracle of nature”. DPA’s initiative, ‘Real Is Rare Real Is A Diamond’ has taken this thought to the next level with a collaboration with leading celebrity couple Syamala and Narasimha as they celebrate their new baby with a real and unique New Mom Gift. Syamala, winning the hearts of Telugu audience through her commendable anchoring in TV shows married the love of her life, Narasimha in 2007. The birth of their baby boy Ishaan, in 2017, was a milestone moment in their relationship and they chose to celebrate this with the billion-year old miracle of nature – diamonds.

Richa Singh, Managing Director, Diamond Producers Association – India said, “Real is Rare Real is a Diamond’ has moved a step forward with the ‘New Mom Gift’ campaign. It is overwhelming to see the recognition that this campaign has received from consumers and the industry alike. Syamala and Narasimha are a testimony to the fact that DPA has always believed in celebrating the integral role that diamonds play in a couple’s journey. We are also grateful to our trade and retail partners for showing incredible support and always joining hands with us in all our initiatives.”

Syamala and Narasimha have shot a unique video inspired by their own real-life experience, where they talk about this most joyful moment of their lives. The birth of their baby boy has moved their relationship to a new phase, giving them many new beautiful, enriching and memorable experiences. The couple celebrated this momentous occasion with a diamond as a #NewMomGift for Syamala, to have a permanent reminder which is as precious, strong and eternal as their parenting journey.

Sharing their thoughts on the occasion they said, “The birth of our baby has changed our lives in many ways, but it has also brought us closer together. These last few months have been tough but we couldn’t have done it without each other. So when we were asked to star in this commercial, it really didn’t feel like work. As actors we like drawing inspiration from our lives and the moments in this commercial are so real that it could just be a day at home. We are delighted to be a part of this campaign for “Real Is Rare Real Is A Diamond” as we get to share our happiness of becoming parents with the entire world.

The film, in association with Star Maa, can soon be seen on your TV screens. The beautiful masterpiece that Syamala is flaunting in the video is one of Kirtilals’ jewellery collection.
