Auctions held for luxury jewellery are easily cited at retail stores, jewellery shows and the internet, but an auction broadcast on television has been organised for the first time by American TJC jewellery channel. The auction will be held on March 1.

Fifteen luxury jewellery prices worth a total $1 million will be on display. Some highlights include a a 10.52-carat emerald pendant embedded between diamonds weighing 5.6 carats, A sapphire and diamond bracelet containing 18.71 carats of sapphires, a gold necklace with an 11.66-carat emerald surrounded by 14.26 carats of round and pearl-shaped diamonds. According to TJC President Sri Burugapalli the event would be a learner to know know the shopper’s response to buying luxury items online and through the television.
