Couture India opens to visitors in New Delhi

The exclusive B2B show was inaugurated by Manoj Dwivedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

A venture by Indian Jeweller (IJ) magazine, the second edition of COUTURE India was inaugurated today here at 9th September at Taj Palace in New Delhi.

Manoj Dwivedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India lighted the inaugural lamp. Along with inaugural lamp was lighted at the hands of Manoj Dwivedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Other dignitaries present at the inaugural ceremony were Vijay Khanna from Khanna Jewellers, Mansukh Kothari from Vasupati Jewellers, Shantibhai Patel from GJTCI, Alok Mandhari, Anand Shah, Alok Kala from Indian Jeweller, Arpit Kala from Indian Jeweller and Gunjan Jain from Diamond World.

A total of 60 hosted buyers participated in the ‘Buyers Hosted Program’.  A specially designed ‘Hosted Buyers Program’ assures the visibility of the products to crème-de-la-crème of the Indian retailer fraternity. Over 500on-spot registered buyers visited the show on Day 1.

The show has been curated in a such way that it provides a perfect opportunity to the exhibitors to showcase their brands, generate enquiries, and boost their sales creating real and lasting value for their business for years to come Participation shall be limited, to maintain exclusivity and quality.

The second edition promises an array of over 50 top couture jewellery brands under one roof, who would be exhibiting their fine jewels in booths designed at par with international standards. Having identical booths for all the exhibitors spread a sense of equality amongst them. After all, each of them had their unique design skills on display.

Besides, COUTURE India will be hosting special Networking Evenings, Knowledge Forums and Fashion Night for the sponsored buyers and exhibitors.
