Are you getting ready for IIJS 2017: You should know this…

Few changes in rules and regulations that one needs to take a note of as you ready yourself to participate in the much-talked about B2B event of the year.

As the industry is gearing up to participate in the upcoming edition of – IIJS 2017 - India’s premier gems and jewellery event, there are certain points to take a note of. Let us have a look at few important ones:

  • Expansion opportunity to its members and more thrust given to smaller exhibitor from 1/2/3 booths to up to 4 booths; more area allocated to Gold Jewellery section due to industry demand; expansion opportunity to all those who participated in 2016 edition
  • Opportunity to create Mezzanine Booth at Existing locations
  • Optimization of Space inside Halls (Displacement & Re-Location): 167 new booths added on the existing floor plan
  • New participation clause: According to the new clause, the exhibitor will not be able to directly or indirectly (including Group/Sister Concern/ common partner) apply or participate or exhibit in any show or exhibition or fair which is similar to exhibitions or shows, related to gem and jeweller, within Mumbai or Greater Mumbai limits or vice versa for a period of 1 week before the start of IIJS 2017 and 1 week after the completion of IIJS 2017.
  • G&J KYC Information Centre (GJKYC) mandatory for space application
  • Compulsory Shell Scheme Booth for expansion from 9 sq.mts to 18 sq.mts
  • International Pavilion has been moved to Hall 2 across the road
  • For easy movement for visitors, many booths haven been displaced/dislocated. We will witness lot more straight aisles this year.
