Tim Porter, Business Development Director, Reed Exhibitions UK inaugurated the JCK New Delhi 2007. This is the second edition of the show in India and is being held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 7 Th – 10th of July 2007. The Show accommodates over 200 exhibitors in an area that is bigger than last year. While addressing the press Mandeep Singh, COO Reed Exhibition India informed, “the show is 26.5% bigger in space with 28% more exhibitors than last year.”
The organizers expect double the number of visitors compared to the previous year. 7200 pre-registrations have already been made while an impressive number of walk-ins are expected. JCK New Delhi could retain 64% of its past year exhibitors.
In response to advice from the industry, Reed exhibitions have introduced many changes for the JCK New Delhi 2007 edition. The show is open for full Four Days including a Sunday. Mike Allsopp, CEO-Reed Exhibitions India explained "The dates are more appropriate as this makes the show first B2B Jewellery exhibition in the calendar year 2007 in India. There will be no date clashes with any other Indian & International Jewellery exhibition. The time is also highly appropriate for retailers to replenish their stocks for wedding & festival season ".
The second edition of JCK includes the participation of the World Gold Council among other Indian and international Jewellery brands and manufacturers. The JCK New Delhi 2007 will also host the launch of the Expressions 2007 collection by the World Gold Council. Hammer plus Jewellery will also be launching two collections at the Exhibition namely "Karma" – The Ancient Destiny Enhancers – Pendant Collection and "Vallaya" – the Bangle Collection. Links Global will be showcasing a new range of Jewellery specifically designed on International trends and is ideal fit for Indian discerning Clientele.
