Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair (HJF), hosted by UBM India, a part of UBM plc, the leading global media business company, was inaugurated at the HITEX exhibition centre in Hall No. ¬1 & 3.

Etala Rajender, Honourable Minister for Finance, Telangana State, Yogesh Mudras, Acting Managing Director, UBM India inaugurated the 8th edition of Hyderabad Jewellery Pearl and Gem Fair in the presence of Sanjay Gulabani, Vice President, Hyderabad Jewellery Manufacturers’ Association and Mahendra Tayal, President, Hitech City Jewellers Manufacturers Association and other dignitaries from the jewellery trade.

HJF 2015 is a gateway to the Indian jewellery market and provides an excellent platform for buyers and suppliers to connect, network, exchange ideas, discover upcoming trends and generate business opportunities. At the fair, the exhibitors will present a wide spectrum of merchandise including diamonds, pearls, gemstones, studded jewellery, exquisite South Indian gold jewellery including the traditional and antique collection of Kundan and Naqash jewellery. Latest machinery and equipments used in the manufacturing process and other related products and services were also on display.

Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of HJF, Yogesh Mudras, Acting Managing Director, UBM India, said, “It has been a constant endeavour of UBM India to provide a platform to the jewellery traders to connect and generate business, thus meeting the larger industry need in India. The Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair, over the years, has become an industry benchmark for trade in the region and this edition will continue to be the South India gateway for markets across the country.”

Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair 2015 is supported by key jewellery associations from across South India including: AP Gold Silver & Diamond Merchant Association, Secunderabad Jewellers Association, Narsaraopet Jewellers Association, East Godavri Jewellers Association & West Godavari Jewellers Association, Guntur Jewellers Association. The Fair has participants from Warangal, Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam, Nellore, Nizamabad and other parts of South India.
