Star Diamond Project delivers Phase 3

71% of diamond recovered are white coloured

Star Diamond Project declared its discoveries from Phase 3 of the Star Kimberlite. Altogether, 724.39 carats have been recovered from 5,580 dry tonnes which were processed. Also, 15 kimberlite batches of Phase 3 delivered 7,484 commercial sized diamonds weighing 717.18 carats. Out of these, 71% were reported white in colour while the 18% were of off-white category.
The batches were recovered from the Pense Kimberlite which is located at the north-east end of the underground development.
